Getting the most out of your Breastfeeding Experience
I firmly believe that it takes a village-in breastfeeding, in child rearing, and in life. While breastfeeding is a normal, biological activity it is also a learned skill. It's not always easy, but I am here to help. My goal as an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant is to support you in meeting your family's breastfeeding goals.
Do you need a Lactation Consultation?
Often new and experienced moms wonder, "Do I need help?" Below are some common reasons you may want to seek help from an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC):
Breast or nipple soreness
Concern about baby getting enough
Baby is not eating frequently enough
Slow weight gain
Baby falling asleep at the breast
Pumping and storing breast milk
Returning to work or school
Difficulty breastfeeding a prior child
There isn't one "right" way to breastfeed. I want to help you find the solutions that work for you, your baby, and your family.
"From the moment I met Amity, she was nothing but professional and friendly. Being a first time mother and having difficulties with breastfeeding was extremely overwhelming and stressful for me. After just one session with Amity I felt so much more confident and relaxed. She is passionate about what she does and it comes accross in her ability to work effectively with both mother and baby towards a positive outcome. I would highly reccomend her to anyone who wants to breastfeed, but is having difficulties getting started."
"[I] just want to thank you so much for all your help. You truly changed the course of breastfeeding for me♥️ I learned so much from you and I’m forever grateful."

"Amity helped me though breastfeeding both my children. She is the coolest, most down to earth, straight talking lactation consultant I've ever worked with. I am so thankful that I had her support and was able to successfully breastfeed both my kids because she was there when I was ready to give up!"
